Greg Board : Never Forgotten - PERIOD.

Greg Board left this world, July 1, as he lived… fast and hard and his way, much to the dismay of those who loved him. My heart is heavy as I go through my galleries looking for his face, but every photo I find that big smile reminds me how much he loved life and I can't help but smile back. He loved his family, his friends and loved people. He had a HUGE heart and was generous to a fault. He was always ready to laugh. Wild and crazy he was, but there was something about him that touched me as only a brother could. Did you hear that rumble? I think his bike Gertrude must be up there with him and he’s riding the wind jamming to Big Mike. He will be so missed for a very, very, long time.

Steve "Hollywood" Jordan Wake : Hollywood was a jewel in the motorcycle community. Big hearted, a talented musician, and always with a smile on his face, he will be missed. He's in a good place now!

Memorial for David "Rev. Booger" Pittman 7.03.09 : In loving memory of David Pittman, or Rev. Booger is how I remember him. I've had the pleasure to meet Rev. Booger at various bike events, but I really came to know him through his amusing articles in Road Rash Magazine. I was deeply touched by the loving memorial service given to Rev. Booger, by his good friends in ARM and his wife. I was deeply touched by the brotherhood of ARM as well. When I pulled up the parking lot was full of every type of bike imaginable. A testament to who Booger was - He didn't care what you rode, just that you rode. After the memorial service a ride was taken to carry Booger's ashes to one of his "secret spots." A long line of bikes rode with a blue light escort up hwy 41 to Monteagle Mountain. At last we arrived at a huge rock looking off the side of the mountain where you could see for miles...His family and friends climbed up to set Booger's ashes free. At the last there was a huge gust of wind and Booger - not content to leave without another ride, clung to several of us.
As I walked back to my bike, dusting Booger off, I felt it was time to leave and ride the wind by myself. As I took off back up the mountain to that little turn off that takes you to Sherwood, I realized I was taking Booger on my solitude ride through some glorious countryside, and I remembered what was said at his memorial about liking to take rides all by himself. I smiled and said a prayer of gratitude and love. Ride Free Brother. Road Captain us from the sky!
peace~

Funeral for a Friend - Noah E. Snodgrass, Jr. - Nov.25, 1936 - March 23, 2007 : I have to say this was the best funeral I've ever been to. Waterbed brought us all together with fond and funny memories of Noah. We laughed and we cried. We remember what a sweet, funny, quirky, and loving man Noah was. Waterbed had a tough job sending his friend off...but he truly shared who Noah was with us and allowed us to share as well. Afterwards we all gathered at Mac's Pub to toast him and continued to share more funny and happy memories.
Noah, I will miss you so much. I will miss your smile and hugs. I'll never forget your blue motorcycle with clouds that you were ragged about so much...or the times we had camping at the Trail of Tears. Ride in peace brother! Watch out for us and ride with us.
All my love to you brother ~

Terry Higgins Memorial 5.26.07 : Terry Higgins, owner of Rumors, left us suddenly last month. Friends gathered at Rumors and then rode as a large group to the funeral home for the memorial service. The gathering was emotional and Terry's wife, Emily, was surrounded by family and friends. Terry was well know for his generosity even after his passing. Recently, after hearing about the FACES Ride 4 Smiles, Emily made a generous donation to FACES in Terry's memory. "He would have wanted to help the kids. That's just the kind of guy he was," she told me. Indeed the man will be missed. Ride in peace brother...
